As you come down the companionway steps of the Moody 45 AC Classic the charm continues thanks to quality, warm timber interiors. You can choose from mahogany (shown here), teak or American cherrywood.

Two tables in the main saloon offer comfortable seating for eight. High quality materials and Moody’s trademark attention to detail result in a top quality finish… and a yacht you will be proud to own.

The beautifully laid out galley has a three-burner stove and moulded CorianTM bench tops.

For entertaining, you’ll appreciate the double sink and the large fridge you can load from the top and bottom.

Opening side and roof hatches give you ample cross ventilation.

The perfectly lit and well-ventilated cabins complete warm interior theme. The V-berth master cabin has a big, bright skylight allowing sunshine and fresh air to stream in. There’s also spacious locker storage and a comfortable lounging seat.

Brian Lidell has owned a few yachts over the years. He looked at a number of new yachts for sale before choosing the Moody 45 AC Classic…

‘Having had four new boats in the past – this time we were looking for something different. We wanted something with character – not something white and plasticy looking.

We looked at idea of an old classic but realised we didn’t have the skill level to maintain a yacht like this. Then Bob Vinks introduced us to the idea of the 45 AC Classic… and we’d found what we were looking for.
